CALL FOR PHOTO-STORIES
What?
We are looking to share heart-warming stories of everyday Sri Lankans that embrace common values through photo-stories.
For Whom?
Anyone between the age of 18 to 29 years.
How?
- Take a photograph that depicts a moment during which you have shown or experienced values such as compassion, respect, tolerance, peace, honesty or cooperation. Make sure to share the story behind the picture with us.

Please follow the following guidelines for your story:
- Word limit (250-300) in any language
- Anecdotal: a kodak moment you have experienced with family, friends, strangers or even a pet.
- Key question: What value(s) did you learn following this experience? Did you realise anything new about yourself- changes in attitude or lifestyle choices? Email your photograph(s) and story to: niresh@sarvodaya.com
Why?
Let your story inspire and encourage others to embrace everyday values.
Photograph Specifications:
- Images should be saved in JPEG format
- Image resolution should be a minimum of 300 dpi
- Photograph can be in colour or monochrome
- Pictures can be taken from a mobile phone or a digital camera
Please note: Photographs should not feature children or minors below the age of 18.
Photographs and stories will be selected by The Asia Foundation in partnership with Sarvodaya.
