Project Overview
#StrongerTogetherSL aims to address the immediate and long-term implications of the Covid-19 pandemic for the most vulnerable populations - especially for young men and women, and active social media users.
The project also seeks to develop regular interactive content to be published on social media platforms to promote social cohesion and counter disinformation concerning the impacts of Covid-19 within the community.
To do so, The Asia Foundation, Sri Lanka, has adapted its values curriculum by developing a set of activities that illustrate how values can be understood and practiced in times of crisis such as the current pandemic environment, particularly in relation to promoting respect, tolerance, and the need to work together. These new activities are to be disseminated among youth in the districts of Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara, where there have been or can be inter-community issues in relation to the pandemic response.
